Mixed Media

For one of my modules this semester I was experimenting techniques in preparation for a dual contributor poetic documentary about looking back on life. Memories, nostalgia and the feeling of the loss of the past are topics that are prevalent in this idea.

I took archived footage from when I was younger and footage from projects created this semester to experiment the mixed media animation style. I believe it was rather successful in making the footage stylised, personalised and reflecting those child-like visuals/reflecting on those emotions (nostalgia) through moving image.
