About Me

My name is Emily Davis, an experimental, documentary filmmaker studying MA Filmmaking at Sheffield Hallam University and a first-class honours BA (Hons) Filmmaking graduate from Leeds Arts University with a growing interest in colour grading and the camera department.

I am passionate about mixed media animation. I explore memory, rhythm, and emotion through layered visuals and creative soundscapes. My work blends analogue textures, poetic pacing, and vivid colour to craft engaging narratives across music video, film, commercial, and experimental styles, often inspired by nature and environmental themes. My latest project, Nostalgia Trilogy, builds on this exploration.

I’m currently active in pre-production and camera roles and looking to expand my practice in videography while also exploring opportunities in teaching.
