About Me

My name is Emily Davis, a commercial and documentary filmmaker studying MA Filmmaking at Sheffield Hallam University and a first-class honours BA (Hons) Filmmaking graduate from Leeds Arts University with a growing interest in colour grading and the camera department.

My work spans on-location and studio production, from client-briefed social media content through to documentary filmmaking, with an eye for detail and a proactive approach to every project. I am currently shooting Silent Language, a British Council-funded documentary following a group of women artists whose jewellery work explores womanhood.

I’m currently active in pre-production and camera roles and looking to expand my practice in videography while also exploring opportunities in teaching.
